Welcome to geneveMonde.ch
geneveMonde.ch is a participatory platform that supports a new way of expressing and understanding the history of international Geneva. It calls upon you, because you can publish your own archives (photos, films, recordings and your written testimonies), share your comments, and connect with other members of the platform.
On geneveMonde.ch, for the first time, audiovisual archives from Radio Télévision Suisse, from international organizations present in Geneva and from the public, both from Geneva and from abroad, who have worked in the framework of international Geneva, are gathered and crossed.
In addition to these documents, some of which are unpublished, the geneveMonde.ch editorial team interviews witnesses, interviews experts, and publishes thematic dossiers, podcasts, videos and articles. Composed of two journalists, a historian and a content producer, the geneveMonde.ch editorial team is also there to accompany you in your publications.
An editorial project with you
geneveMonde.ch is developing its editorial project with you: to tell the story of international Geneva through photos, videos, audio, and written documents and to explore the way in which institutional memory and testimonies influence our understanding of peace, war, and international cooperation, but also of resilience, resistance, hope, and Geneva's place in the world.
We are opening geneveMonde.ch in the fall of 2022. With you, this unique editorial project will be exciting and abundant. Enter this new way of telling, together, the story of international Geneva. We welcome you !

A time for dialogue
In 2003, a man from Geneva initiated a dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians far from the diplomatic arena. His aim: to achieve a two-state solution. The RTS archives bear witness to the dynamic generated by this ‘Geneva Initiative’.
