The Loterie Romande, Genève
The Loterie Romande, through its Geneva branch, supports geneveMonde.ch's commitment to present a new narrative of the history of international Geneva to the public in Geneva, Switzerland and abroad. This work highlights not only the major institutions, but also the invisible players who have worked for peace and justice, making Geneva a global crossroads.
The Foundation Portail des Nations
The Foundation Portail des Nations offers a new venue to popularize multilateralism and the role of the UN in Geneva. Construction is underway, with a view to opening to the public in summer 2025.
In spring 2024, FONSART and geneveMonde.ch signed an agreement with the Foundation Portail des Nations. In the run-up to the opening, the geneveMonde.ch team will share its expertise on the history of international Geneva with the Portal team. As soon as the Portal opens, geneveMonde.ch will develop a website designed to interest visitors, with thematic features and a Who's who of the history of international Geneva.
The Office of International Geneva
We thank the Office of International Geneva for its role as advisor and facilitator with the International Geneva community for the deployment of geneveMonde.ch. And his commitment to our series “Discovering the ITU archives”.
The Office of International Geneva (SGI) is attached to the International Affairs Directorate of the Department of Finance and Human Resources of the Republic and the State of Geneva. It is in charge of dealing with issues related to hosting and local activities of international organizations. Within this framework, it disseminates, via its website geneve-int.ch, extensive information on current events, activities, and actors of international Geneva as well as the resources available to them.
The City of Geneva
Through its Service des relations extérieures et de la communication (SREC), the City of Geneva supports geneveMonde.ch in its cultural outreach to the people of Geneva. This support has enabled us to create the “Who's on the line?” table, featuring a wide selection of speeches delivered in Geneva by leading historical figures.
The Fondation pour Genève
The Fondation pour Genève is a private institution recognized as being of public utility, whose main mission is to support the actions of the Federal and Geneva authorities in favor of Geneva's international development. It animates, promotes and supports initiatives that contribute to Geneva's tradition of hospitality and openness to the world and that strengthen its international position and that of the Lake Geneva region.
The Club diplomatique de Genève
The Diplomatic Club of Geneva is an association under private law sponsored by the Swiss and Geneva authorities and by the United Nations Office in Geneva. The Diplomatic Club is the official Club where decision-makers of international Geneva meet and exchange thoughts while developing synergies between their institutions and cultivating a network of exclusive relationships. Through its activities, the Club also contributes to the development of relations between the international community and the host State.

A time for dialogue
In 2003, a man from Geneva initiated a dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians far from the diplomatic arena. His aim: to achieve a two-state solution. The RTS archives bear witness to the dynamic generated by this ‘Geneva Initiative’.
